Playing Nice In My Sandbox

I enjoy vigorous and bold debate. But folks if you are going to post comments here, please don't call people drunks, perverts, etc., unless such claims are a matter of public record. I've had to avoid publishing several otherwise very good comments because they crossed that line.

That was directed to me, I assume,...perhaps others as well who feel as strongly as I do. Let' start over again: If Chatigny is not a drunk, he should be. Maybe it would help. How do you like them apples? You can post or not,...I'm not a member of any bar and there's no judge I SHOULD be afraid of.
Hopefully, that is. After all, we live in a nation of law's, not mother-in-laws, thank god. The pen is still mightier than the sword. Anyhow, thanks for the discretionary intervention. Can I say this: the state (and federal govt?) are operating a criminal 'justice' Ponzi Scheme of the highest order which will collapse one day under its own weight. This is inevitable, and may be happening as we speak.
How do you plan on eliminating violence in the City of New Haven--and other cities? By hiring more outreach workers? More police? More prosecutors, judges and probation officers? I don't think so, but--hey--who am I? What do I know? Not being an attorney, a judge, or an overworked CT official, I guess I know absolutely nothing of these matters.
Did you not just re-read Brave New World, Norm? How soon you forget!?!

Hmm. "Drunk" is a statement of fact, and if false, might be defamatory. But surely "pervert" is a matter of opinion?
